How to stay up to date in machine learning and deep learning?

#artificialintelligence

Youtube has a lot of quality channels in the field. In this list, I'll share with you the channels I like the most right now. This is one of the lightest channels on youtube. Presented by Dr.Károly Zsolnai he makes new papers easy to track. In his videos, he picks a new paper and shows what progress the authors make compared to previous papers.

#artificialintelligence

Welcome to the second edition of ML News Monthly – Nov 2020!! Here are the key happenings this month in the Machine Learning field that I think are worth knowing about. It's important to note that the practice of Responsible AI encompasses more than just privacy and security; those aspects are important, of course, and are perhaps covered more in mainstream media, but Responsible AI also includes concerns around safety and reliability, fairness, and transparency and accountability. This post will examine the maturity of the Responsible AI space through the lens of several surveys and an ethnographic study. Google Research team talking about the most advanced findings on how to operationalize state-of-the-art models and how to make the best out of their runtime performance.

Introducing ML News

There are a lot of tech/AI/[insert relevant category here] "communities" out there. But this one is different, I promise. ML News (MLN for short) is a community for sharing and discussing all things related to machine learning, deep learning, AI, data science, and the like. It all started with a love-hate relationship with Hacker News. On a good day you might find a gem or two, but in my experience you're more likely to waste five minutes scanning a bunch of random links to people's personal blogs, and pop news articles talking about something [insert some big company] did.

Where do you get your ML News from?

This post lists different sources for staying up-to-date with Machine Learning research/news/advances. Right now, Machine Learning is in a state of rapid transformation and bold claims. I live in a constant fear of missing out on "cool" ML research and engineering advances. If this feeling echoes with you too, then this post is for you. Good tech journalists exist but I believe there are only a handful of them covering AI.
